Website policy version: 7 October 2026
Pre-launch website terms. The project is not yet offering a public assistant account. This document does not certify the product, hosting configuration or legal entity.
1. About this policy
This policy covers the Hey Muffin marketing website, waitlist requests and contact requests. The assistant has not been released. “Hey Muffin”, “we” and “us” refer to the project operating this website. Contact: fintex@mail.instinct.com. Before any assistant account is offered, its operator and applicable product terms will be disclosed.
2. Information you choose to submit
A waitlist email can contain your email address and an optional description of what you would use Muffin for. A contact email can contain your email, optional name, selected topic and message. The form helps prepare this information in your email app. This website does not save your form details in a website database. Do not include another person’s details without permission, passwords, health information or other sensitive content.
3. How requests work
This website prepares requests in your own email app. You must send the message yourself. Preparing a draft does not confirm delivery, enrolment or a response. If your email app does not open, use the published contact address directly. Sending a request does not create an assistant account, connect Gmail or WhatsApp, or complete a requested privacy action.
4. Why the information is used
Details you email are used to record your interest, respond to your request and communicate about relevant product access. The form asks you to acknowledge the stated purpose before preparing the email. Contacting us does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. We do not sell request details or use them for advertising profiles.
5. Website analytics and browser storage
This public website does not run analytics, advertising pixels or third-party tracking scripts. Your chosen light or dark appearance and privacy preference can be stored locally in your browser. Hosting still receives normal network information when serving pages. See the cookie and storage policy for browser preferences and hosting boundaries.
6. Hosting and access
The website is hosted on Render. Your own email provider handles the draft and the message you choose to send; the project’s email provider handles messages received at its published address. Hosting and email providers may process logs and messages under their own terms, including outside your country. Only people handling the project’s requests should access those emails. No assistant account or private conversation is connected by this website.
7. Retention and deletion
The website does not save your form text in a website database. Your browser may retain entered text through autofill or page restoration, and your email app may save a prepared draft. Emails you send are handled through the project mailbox and its provider. Contact the project to withdraw your interest or request removal of your details. Hosting logs, email-provider records and backups have their own retention settings; preparing a message does not erase them or verify a deletion.
8. Access, correction and complaints
Email fintex@mail.instinct.com to ask about access, correction or deletion, or to withdraw interest. We may ask for reasonable verification. Submitting a request is not evidence that it has been completed; we will distinguish receipt from action. Applicable privacy rights depend on your circumstances and jurisdiction. You may also contact your local privacy regulator, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for Australian matters.
9. Security and children
Website pages are served over HTTPS. Email handling depends on your email provider and the project mailbox provider; this website does not promise end-to-end email encryption or independent certification. Do not include sensitive information in a request. The waitlist is intended for people aged 16 or older. Contact us if you believe a child’s information has been submitted.
10. Changes
This policy describes the current static website and email-request process. If request storage or analytics is introduced later, the policy and choices must be updated before collection changes. Product-specific data handling will be explained separately before the assistant becomes available.
